Repenting and turning to Allah at the time of a tragedy or trial

Q: Muslims who experience conditions like hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis then the best thing to do at such times is to sincerely seek the forgiveness of Allah and make sincere Taubah, am I correct?

A: Yes, at the time of a tragedy or trial a believer should turn to Allah Ta‘ala, repent for his sins, reform his life and seek Allah Ta'ala's divine mercy and assistance.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
