Addressing a magistrate as "your worship"

Q: In my work as a candidate attorney, I am forced to refer to the magistrate as, "your worship". Is this permissible as it is not possible for any Muslim attorney to practice without having to at some point appear before a magistrate in court.

A: Refrain from addressing the magistrate with these words as worship is something exclusive to Allah Ta'ala. You may substitute this address by saying " My honour ".

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
