Taking oaths that one cannot fulfill

Q: I made oaths like reciting a certain prayer every night or performing missed (qaza) prayers after each obligatory prayer. If these oaths are broken every time I fail to fulfill them, it seems impossible for me to pay all their expiations. No matter how careful I try to be, there will always be oaths that end up being broken. I feel so helpless. I ask Allah for forgiveness, but there’s nothing more I can do. I try to pay expiations, but it feels like an ant carrying water to extinguish a fire. In this situation, is there no way for me to attain Allah's forgiveness? Please, give me some guidance.

A: Stop taking more oaths and try to fulfil whatever oaths you have taken to the best of your ability. Give the kaffaarah for the oaths which you broke and make istighfaar.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
