Earning halaal wealth using a laptop that was bought with haraam money

Q: Earning halaal wealth using a laptop that was bought with haraam money. If haraam, does the profit money need to be given to that right owner?

A: The wealth earned through using the laptop will be halaal on condition that the work or business one is doing is permissible according to Shariah.

However, if one had stole money from a person, then that amount of money (which one stole and then used it to purchase the laptop) should be returned to the rightful owner. If one does not know the person whom he stole the money from or one acquired the haraam money from the bank , then he should give the equivalent amount of money to the poor without the intention of receiving any reward.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
