Woman making the intention of itikaaf when performing salaah at home

Q: 1. When a lady performs her salaah, it is recommended to make intention of nafl itikaaf, is this correct? 

2. Will only her musallah be considered as the itikaaf area, or if she is reading in her bedroom, will her bedroom also be considered as the area of itikhaaf?

A: This is not mentioned in the Hadith that when a woman performs her salaah (e.g. within her home), then she should make the niyyat of itikaaf.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
