Giving zakaat to Muslim children whose parents are non Muslims

Q: Can Zakaat be given to Muslim children but parents are Non Muslims?

A: A Muslim may assume guardianship of the child and if the child is eligible they can accept it for the child.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
