Rubbing the earring holes with wet fingers while making ghusl

Q: For fardh ghusl, is putting a wet earring in the ear holes necessary or is rubbing the hole with wet fingers sufficient?

A: Rubbing the earring holes with wet fingers in a way that the water enters the holes is sufficient.
