Q: Is nikaah between a Sunni girl and an Ismaili boy valid?

A: The Ismailis are a sect of the Shiahs. Shiahs are not Muslims as their beliefs oppose the beliefs of Islam.
They believe that the Qur’aan Shareef has been distorted and that the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu anhum) had turned apostate after Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) left the world, Allah forbid.
Similarly they attribute false allegations to some of the Azwaaj-e-Mutahharaat (The pure and respected wives of Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)) saying that they had committed zina.
Those who subscribe to such beliefs are kaafirs and they cannot be regarded as Muslims. Hence, it is not permissible for a sunni girl to marry a shiah boy.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
