Exposing less than a quarter of a limb that is compulsory to be covered during salaah

Q: If less than a quarter of a limb is exposed during salaah, would the salaah be valid ?

A: If it is a limb that is compulsory to be covered during salaah, then if less than quarter of the limb became exposed unintentionally during the salaah, the salaah will be valid. 

However, if one intentionally exposed a portion of the limb which is less than quarter, then the salaah will be valid, however one will be sinful for doing this.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
