Remarrying during the iddat period after talaaq-e-baain

Q: I was told that if talaq e bain takes place once between a couple, the same couple can remarry during the time of iddat? So I want to ask, is it true that the same couple can marry during the iddah period according to Hanafi fiqh?

A: Yes, it is permissible on condition that the talaaq one issued is the first or second talaaq. However, if the talaaq one issued is the third talaaq, then it will not be permissible for them to remarry unless halaalah takes place.
