Q: Are there recommended duas for the gregorian new year, i.e., 1st of January?
A: This new year has got no basis in our deen. Our year starts with Muharram. Just as their days of celebrations are different and our days of celebration are Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha. We should distance ourselves altogether from their celebrations and events.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
