Reciting Surah Kahf and Durood on Fridays from the Mimbar

Q: Is the new practice of reading Surah Kahf and durood on Fridays from the Mimbar, via the mic, acceptable? 

I find it very disturbing for the musalees who have read Surah Kahaf on their own who would like to make their own personal ibaadat.

A: This is not a sunnah practice. It should be omitted.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
