Starting a new khatam of the Quraan Majeed when Ramadhaan commences

Q: If I started a Khatam of Quraan Shareef tilawat before Ramadan, and if I don't complete it before Ramadan starts, can I stop that Khatam and start a new one in Ramadan, then continue with this khatam after Ramadan? Will it be counted?

A: Yes, it is permissible.
