Purchaser passing away while still paying in installments for a land

Q: 

1. If we are purchasing a land in installments and we pass away in the interim, what should be done? 

2. Can you sell a land whilst you still paying installments for it? 

A: 

1. The remaining amount of the debt will be due immediately and will have to be paid from the estate of the deceased. 

2. Yes, since you have purchased it and own it, it is permissible for you to sell it. 

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
