Taking the masjid borehole water for personal use

Q: A masjid has a borehole, can one fill and take water from the masjid to use for drinking etc. at home?

A: If the trustees or the people who contributed to the borehole intended public use then it is permissible.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
