Sharing one's food with domestic helpers

Q: What is the ruling regarding food items etc, that are in the house which the helpers see all the time, is it necessary to share this with them always, or sometimes to share it with them is fine?

A: Though it is not compulsory upon one to share the food items (or any delicacies prepared in the home) with them, however, it is part of good Islamic morals and values that one shares some of the food with them as they are present observing you consuming it.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
