Q: I live in Jeddah and I want to know, will it be permissible for me to perform umrah badal with a small fee for transport and doing the umrah. It will solely be with the intention of performing the umrah for that specific person. I do not intend on charging exorbitant amounts but just a small fee.
A: Charging a fee to do hajj or umrah for someone is not permissible.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
