Eating from food outlets owned by Muslims

Q: Many of the Pedros and Wackys are SANHA certified because it is a halaal kitchen. However the franchise owners are non-Muslim. Is it permissible to eat from these outlets?

A: The principle of Shari’ah is that if a Muslim acquires chicken in a halaal manner and he slaughters it according to the sharee method of slaughter, then the chicken will be halaal and it will be permissible to purchase the chicken from him. Hence, if the food outlet is owned by Muslims and they acquire chickens in a halaal manner and they slaughter it according to the sharee method of slaughter, then it will be permissible to eat their chicken.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
