Q: A lady has been divorced and is 4 months pregnant. She has what the doctors call an STD and according to the doctors she should abort the fetus, otherwise there is high probability of her life and the baby's life being lost.
Is she allowed to abort the baby?
A: Another word for abortion is murder. Can a sane understanding mother who has human values, ever think of murdering her innocent sinless child. Even if she or the child passes away, both are getting the virtue of a shaheed. So, is that a loss or a gain?
