Passing wind in salaah after reciting tashahhud

Q: Does passing gas invalidate one's prayer if one has completed "attahiyatu lillahi" but before reciting durood sharif, du'a and salaam, during last sitting/tashahhud?

A: If after tashahhud, he passed wind, the salaah will be complete. However, since he did not make salaam and salaam is waajib, it will be compulsory to repeat the salaah as long as the time of the salaah remains. Once the time passes, it is no longer compulsory to repeat the salaah but repeating the salaah will be mustahab.
