Various masaail of Salaah

Idols from the neighbour's home being visible while performing salaah

Q: My husband and I are moving into a new apartment insha-Allah. When we viewed the place we did not notice that Hindu idols were placed in a small area and is visible from the window of both rooms. After signing the contract we then noticed it and feel uncomfortable about it especially since it’s visible in the direction of qiblah. Our real estate agent does not wish to ask the owners to move it as previously Muslims stayed here with no problem. I am not sure what to do in this situation. Your advice will be appreciated.

Waiting for bleeding from a cut to stop before performing salaah

Q: If I get a cut or something before namaaz and it doesn't stop bleeding when azaan goes, must I miss jamaat to monitor the cut to see if it stops bleeding? If it doesn't then 15 minutes or so before that namaaz time is up do I qualify as a mazoor and must make wudu and read namaaz or as soon as azaan goes I qualify as a mazoor and must make wudu and go to the mosque and read namaaz in jamaat?

Unintentionally swallowing blood

Q: If one felt the taste of blood in the mouth and eventually so he went to bathroom and spat out and there was discoloured saliva and didn’t seem to see blood and swallowed intentionally as he didn’t think there was blood but it tasted like blood. So most likely he would have consumed blood but not intentionally. Does this mean his salah may not be accepted for 40 days because of consuming this blood?

(a) You walk in front of them, stop for a while (say, 10 seconds) and then continue past them.
