Q: I am a divorced woman. I am looking for a spouse in my area. What is the Islamic ruling on using apps like Muzz or should I look for alternative ways? I do try to read tahajjud whenever I can and make dua.
A: Do not refer to these types of apps etc. This is not the Islamic way of getting married.
Many a time through referring to these apps one falls into sins and one ends up getting married to a person who is not committed to following the sunnah.
The Islamic way is to turn to Allah Ta‘ala in dua and beg Him to bless you with a pious spouse who will be good for you in your deen and dunya.
You should also discuss the issue with your parents and pious senior people of your family and ask them to find you a pious suitable spouse.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
