Man growing his hair beyond the shoulders

Q: Is it permissible for a Muslim man to grow his hair, longer than what is sunnah, if there is no intention at all of imitating woman?

If not, what is the maximum that he is permitted to grow his hair?

A: He should conform to the sunnah and not grow his hair more than the sunnah length. The furthest length that Rasulullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) grew his blessed hair was till his shoulders.

Growing the hair beyond the shoulders has some resemblance with women's hair. Therefore, one should refrain from this.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
