Q: Is it permissible to read Salaah in front of a mirror?

A: Yes.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

(ولا بأس بنقشه خلا محرابه) فإنه يكره لأنه يلهي المصلي (الدر المختار 1/658)

قال العلامة ابن عابدين – رحمه الله -: (قوله لأنه يلهي المصلي) أي فيخل بخشوعه من النظر إلى موضع سجوده ونحوه وقد صرح في البدائع في مستحبات الصلاة أنه ينبغي الخشوع فيها ويكون منتهى بصره إلى موضع سجوده الخ وكذا صرح في الأشباه أن الخشوع في الصلاة مستحب والظاهر من هذا أن الكراهة هنا تنزيهية فافهم (رد المحتار 1/658)
