Q: I am 25 years of age, no proposal came for marriage, moreover even my parents don't want me to get married for the next 2 years. I feel lonely, all my friends are either engaged or married. I can't tell it to my parents that I want to get married as I am a girl. Please give me some wazifa, that I can read, in order to be blessed with a suitable spouse. We also don't have sufficient means to arrange my marriage.
A: We feel that it is obligatory for you to mention this to your parents that they must get you married. However, after every fardh namaaz read this du`aa: رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.

Q: I got your response regarding my marriage issues. My parents are not even looking for a boy, I am very tensed. I talk with them regarding this, but they show no interest, and now I am completely hopeless. They are not going to find a boy for few years. Moreover, I don't have any relative whom I can talk to regarding this. I am reading the dua, told by you frequently, but I have heard that marriage is rizq and you have to work to attain it. I am myself looking for someone whom I can get married to, and I got cheated twice and I am now heartbroken and depressed. I told my non Muslim friends to look for a suitable Muslim boy. (I live in a non muslim community)
There are no any rishtas for me yet, not even a single, I am very tensed, I can't concentrate on my studies either. Is it possible that while am reading the dua, I will get a spouse, without doing any effort? I don't want any haram relation again, and end up broken and cheated. I told all my conditions to you, so I am lonely. I don't have anyone to find a match for me, my parents will not do that, its sure now after trying many times. Please help me, I really need your help!
A: We advise that you speak to some elders of you family or of your community that they should help you in this regards.
And Allah Ta`ala knows best
