Dream

Q: My mother is 48. By Allah's will she's bed ridden since one year. Soon it will be two years. She suffers a lot, cancer and backbone problem. She is bed ridden
now. May Allah grant her shifah. Ameen.

I dreamt that she died, but even then we were talking to her. You know in dreams...it happens. So I was asking her about her sakaaraat. She said this cannot be explained. Yet she seemed to be happy. He was standing and walking as well and was waiting for her burial. Then she was taken away and buried. I could hear myself reading minha
khalaqnakum... while others were throwing soil... I wish to know whether this dream has got any interpretation or is it just some thoughts going round the mind and then coming in the form of dreams?

Often I dream about ox, cattle...running after me..but I always escape them in the dreams.. I run a lot. At times I fight them too but that's rare. I wish to know if there is any thing related to my life. Please note that i'm neither a farmer nor do I have any animal.

A:

  1. You should serve your mother to the best of your ability. Through this Allah Ta'ala will bless you with his pleasure and success in this world and the next. Those afflicted with cancer or any acute sickness and they patiently persevere with being pleased with the decree of Allah Ta'ala, Allah Ta'ala blesses them with the rank of a Shaheed. The Qur'an explains that a shaheed is alive in his grave. May Allah Ta'ala bless your mother with complete shifa and make it easy for you to serve her and fulfil her rights.
  2. You should observe strict purdah from strange men and boys. Exercise extreme caution with regard to the places you go and people you meet. Similarly be careful and cautious in regard to the use of the cell phone, internet, reading material, etc. Not adopting the required level of precaution can cause you to fall in sin and earn the displeasure of Allah Ta'ala.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
