Q: I saw a dream after my fajar prayers today. There is a rat or mouse running inside my house. It's brown some what hairy. Me and my mom were hitting it with a broom. It gets hurt and then its normal again. Then again we hurt it with a broom and mom puts it over the dust pan and she intends to throw outside our home but she then feels pity for it and leaves it in our home again. And I say why are you letting it reside inside our home.
A: At times in a dream a rat refers to a thief and at times it refers to sins. Refrain from all doubtful or sinful activities e.g. not observing purdah, viewing sin on the cellphone or internet, TV, reading novels or any anti Islamic literature, etc and lead a life in total conformity to the Mubaarak Sunnah of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam).
