Going to an aamil to locate a lost cat

Q: My pet cat has gone missing. I am dearly attached to it, and I l have been unsuccessful in trying to locate it. Is it permissible for me to approach an Aamil to help locate the cat?

A: There is no need for all this. Make du`aa. May Allah Ta`ala return your cat to you or grant you something better than what you have lost. The aamil is not the knower of the unseen.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
