Q: When elongating with a damma are we meant to say "Uw" or "Oo" like in the name Daawuwd, is the elongation meant to sound like "Wuwd" or "Wood"?
A: It must be elongated like in the word 'food'.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
