Wearing imitation rings

Q: Just wanted to ask what is the daleel regarding women wearing fake rings?

Women's Salaah

Q: I have read the book regarding womens salaah and would like clarity on a few issues. Please provide proofs from Quraan, hadith and the imaams jazakallah.

1) Why should a women place her hands on her chest in qiyaam?

2) Why should a women only touch her knees with her finger tips for ruku? The hadith that mentions the thief in salaat clearly says that its one who doesn't complete the postures. A women who just touches her knees in ruku is definitely not completing her ruku.

3) Why should a women place her elbows on the ground in sajda? The Ahaadith clearly instruct us not to prostrate like dogs and place our elbows on the ground, they can still draw their bodies close and keep the elbows off the ground.

Stopping the previous husband from living with his new wife

Q: I am Australia based. After a long sour relationship I divorced my ex-wife. She has completed her iddat now. I re-married back home and want to bring my new wife to Australia. But my ex. Wife is refusing to sign civil divorce papers and persistent to spend 12 months separation time. I believe it is not fair to stop a married couple to meet and live together. May I request you to please advise if my ex. wife's conduct is valid under Shar'iah law? Is she allowed to cause delays in adjoining of a legitimate married couple? Looking forward to your instructions.

Husband and wife living separate

Q: I have observed in many countries that people marry and stay with their wives for a month or two and then they go to other countries for work and they come back to their wives after two or three years for a month or two and then again go back. My question is that is this the correct way of spending life with family especially wives? Is this the correct way of spending a married life according to Islam? Please answer my question to clear my concept about this issue.

Safwa towers prayer room

Q: In Mecca, inside Safwa Towers there is a very large prayer area (with its own sound system, recitation coming direct from the Haramain Sharifain Imam). Does this area come under the precinct of the Haramain? In other words, do I get the same reward as praying inside the Haramain Sharifain as praying in the Safwa Towers’ prayer area?

Salaah on an aeroplane

Q:

1. Is it necessary for me to repeat my salah that I prayed on an aeroplane?

2. If yes, then can I always sit and pray my salah in an aeroplane?

Interest based saving schemes

Q: Pakistan is an Islamic state. I have invested some amount in government saving schemes. Although the rate of profit is fixed it is actually not because of inflation which may be more or less than the rate of profit. Besides, the actual value of my investment is going down each year due to devaluation being corresponding effect of inflation. Please guide me if the profit I receive on this investment is halaal.

Marital issues

Q: I have been married for 10 years and have 2 children aged 1 and 3. My husband and I fight constantly because he has a bad temper. He smokes weed and hangs around with non muslim friends. He has never beaten me so that I have marks but has struck me and pushed me while holding my baby. He has always tried to kick me out of the house but my mother in law has intervened and allowed me to stay. If he says he wants a divorce and I should leave, what are his responsibilities towards his children as we do not have anywhere to go and I cannot afford to rent a place on my salary.

Husband taking care of the expenses of the house

Q: My husband gives me R1000 a month just for groceries and at the end of the month I give him R1000 to pay for our water account, is that right? He doesn't give me any other money.
