Q: My waalida wants to give fidiya on behalf of my Marhoom waalid, so can she give it to any poor Muslim person or a person who is doing tilawat at the qabrastaan to gain some money?

Q: Can one use Fidyah money to construct a water well in a poor area?

Q: My father has diabetes. Is it fardh for him to fast in Ramadhaan? He was advised by doctors to avoid fasting.

Q:

1. When you donate money to charity organisation they have box for Zakat, Lillah and Sadaqah,which box should one put the Fidya money(money for fast missed in the month of ramadhan due to long term sickness) and Kaffarah money?
2. Is it permissible to give Fidya money (money for fast missed in the month of ramadhan due to long term sickness) to a poor person but not very poor because he can not take zakat money?

Q:

1. A person who cannot fast in ramadhan due to a sickness, also cannot give fidyah as he is out of a job, what must he do?
2. What is the fidya?
3. Does it have to be given only to Muslims?
4. If he cannot find as many Muslims can he give to kuffar as well?
5. Can the fidya be given in the form of a meal?
6. Can the person giving the fidya partake of the meals as well?

Q: I have few farz rozas due to keep from last ramazan because of monthly period and one of them I left because of severe migraine headache.
Most of the time when I fast I have severe migraine headache with nausea which is quite severe. My question is can I give fitr for the above rozas or do I need to keep it despite the headache.

Q: I had a question about fasting for my mother. She is sick and on mediation? She can't fast do to sickness? Is she required to feed poor person or what she has to do?

Q: My question is that can my mother complete the fardh namazes,fasts etc of her mother who had passed away (dead) so that she will be safe on the judgment day? Or there is some other way in Islam by which we can fulfil the remaining fardh ibaadaat of relatives who are no more alive?

Q: Kindly tell me difference between fidya and fitrah. Also let me know about the current rates of both fidya and fitrah in rupees.

Q: My mother passed away a few days ago. Is there fidyah to be paid for some missed salaah or fast? If so, how do we calculate it?
