Q: I have been fasting for my kaffarah for about 11 days out of the 60 so far Allhumdulilah. The thing is I have a problem with constant release of Mazi. It is most likely due to an infection. My question is that when I go to the doctor and get the 7 day antibiotic is this a valid Shari reason to cause a break within the 60 days. It's not fully constant all the time but it's enough to make a person change his clothes at least once a day.
Q: When I was 14 or 15 years old I was angry at something and I stupidly broke my Ramadan fast by drinking water out of anger. I knew my fast broke but I did not eat or drink anything after. I was not aware of the kaffarah masaail as well. Will I have to keep 60 consecutive kaffarah fasts or just 1 qada?
Q: When I was 13\14 I broke one fast on purpose knowing that it breaks my fast. Some years later I realised that I would have to keep 60 kaffarah fast. So I made them up. I kept 60 in a row everyday intending that it was kaffarah. My problem is I was thinking about this and I am certain that in one or two of the days I had to do ghusl and I remember water going down my throat. Will I have to make all my kaffarah fasts again?
Q: I am an American old man and sick. I am always in and out of hospital all the time. I did not fast the month of Ramadan. My wife has missed 3 days. We want to feed people for our missed prayers. Will my wife has to feed 60X3=180? Would I have to feed 60X30=1800 which I can not afford? How should I do it?
Q: If a man is masturbating during a Qadha fast but then tries to stop but ejaculation occurs anyway. Is the fast counted? If not is the ruling the same
i.e. must he keep one fast for the missed fast?
Q: Is it permissible to make an intention of Qadha for fasts that were missed in Ramadhan and also for the 6 Sunnah fasts of Shawwal? I heard that to get the reward promised in the Hadith you will have to keep 36 fasts (Ramadhaan plus 6 fasts of Shawwaal). Is this correct?
Q: I am 25 years old. I missed out fasts during my teen years and I am unsure of how many fasts I've missed. Probably around 30-40. I do however want to give kaffarah for those fasts. Should I re-estimate how many fasts I have missed and pay a kaffarah for each fast, or should I pay one kaffarah for all the missed fasts? Also, how much should one pay for a fast? Or how many people should I feed to suffice for one fast? Jazakallah in advance.
Q: There is only one week remaining of Shawwaal, and I want to keep the six fasts of Shawwaal. However, I have 13 qadha fasts to keep. Should I keep the qadha fasts first and miss the six fasts of Shawwaal or can I keep the six fasts first and thereafter make up the qadha fasts?
Q: Last year I wasn't able to fast all my excused days that I broke my fast in ramadhan. I heard from someone before that if you didn't fast all your excused days before the coming ramadhan then you have to pay a specific amount of zakaat according to how many days you left. I had 7 excused days in ramadhan and was only able to fast 5 days. So I had 2 days that I didn't fast from my excused days. I am not sure what I am supposed to do.
Q: I gave birth during Ramadan and have not paid in all my days owed as yet. Can it carry over till after the next Ramadan and can I then fast the 3 days after the coming Ramadaan to pay in my days owed?
