Conveying sawaab to the deceased
Q: I have bought a jah-e-namaz (musala) and want that the sawaab from it can be given to my grand mother, means that he sawaab from it gets included in my grand mother's account. Is it possible?

Q: Today we were discussing that if a human passes away, his/her file of acts are closed. And after death if any one arranges Quran Khwaani and something like that then how can he/she receive the sawaab. Please give me answer by Quran and Hadith.

1. Is it true that if one recites Surah Yaaseen for a deceased, then any punishment that the deceased may be undergoing will be alleviated for that day?
2. Apart from asking for the forgiveness of the deceased, are there any specific surahs that can be recited to benefit the deceased?
Q: Is it permissible to perform umrah and convey the reward to a deceased? When one conveys reward to a deceased, then does the deceased know of the reward and the person who conveyed it?
Q: Can a person keep fasting with an intention that its sawaab or reward should be given to someone who has passed away?
Q: How does a widow refer to her late husband after the iddat period is over because she is no longer in his nikah? Can she still refer to him as her huband? When she is doing isale-sawab can she ask Allah Ta'ala to pass the sawab on to her "husband", or does she have to mention him by name, or refer to him as her children's father?
Q: Does one have to make niyyah for isaal-e-Thawaab before the action (can intention be made after)?
Q: Can we and should we send isaale thawaab to someone who is a relative that was born disabled needing 24hr care and remained that way until they passed away aged 40? Would they be in need of our isaale thawaab or are they free from sin and hence dwellers of Jannah anyway?
