1. If one does istinja using their hands, are their hands pure once they have finished istinja?

2. If they touch something right after with wet hands, do that thing become impure?

3. Also, I am a female and often, when I am squatting and making istinja with running water, I fear that water enters and exists my vagina. I cannot be sure about it but I feel as though it might be. I know water that exits the vagina is not pure yet, I do not see how I could pour water over my private parts without it entering the vagina (in fact I can't see how any other women would be able to avoid this as well) and I can't not wash it either. What should I do in this case?

Q: I have seen many people that when their feet touch someone else, they make salaam to him. They touch the person and touch their own hearts and then touch their own mouths. Is there any basis for it and should it be done?

1. Putting ones hand on ones hips or

2. Putting ones hands on ones waist

والخاصِرَةُ: الشاكِلَةُ، وما بينَ الحَرْقَفَةِ والقُصَيْرَى

From qamoos, 2 seems correct.

Q:

1. Does any portion of the hand need to be covered at the time of reading Quraan?

2. Will it be sinful for any part of the hand to be exposed?

Q: I heard that that the hands should be placed on the chest during salah because there are sahih hadith on this. And also, the hadith of placing hands below the navel is weak. Is this true? I've been told it doesn't matter much where the hands are placed as long as the prayers are offered, but I still would like to know the correct way.
