Q: Can an Imaam charge you a fee when doing a Nikaah because I've asked everybody and everybody's answer is the same that the Imam is not suppose to charge but rather you can give what you can afford to give him as thanks. Also the islamic community pays the Imam for nikaahs, janaazahs etc.. so why should there be a charge?
Q: My friends and I are planning to register a company which focuses on construction solutions. Presently, we are working in a company as employees and all of us are working in different sectors. Our employer has several businesses, and healthcare is one of them. For each machine installation, they hire a third party for construction and finishing works. My question is that we are the employees of the same company and now we want to open our own company to be the third party for their construction work. Can we take orders for construction jobs from our company without showing them that we own the third company? Will this be permissible?

Q: I am a Muslim (guy) college student. If I study to become a Physical therapist for the sake/pleasure of Allah:
a.) Will Allah accept it?
b.) Does my going everyday to school become a worship (Ammal)?

Q: There are two artisans I can deal with, one non-Muslim and another Muslim, the non-Muslim goes out of his way to give us excellent service, with good prices etc. the Muslim unfortunately does not offer excellent service we have chosen the non-Muslim but the thought crosses our mind that is it the correct thing to do. Q: I do freelance work in which I do data entry and academic writing like assignments and lab reports. Is this type of occupation halaal or not?
Q: I am a graphic designer by profession. In my line of work, I have to prepare advertisements for my clients. The adverts have the pictures of the products which are on promotion. Invariably, some products that are advertised have pictures e.g. Milo – the picture of the tin has a picture of a youngster kicking a football. My clients will want the picture of the Milo tin on the advertising pamphlet. In the circumstances, will it be permissible for me to put the photographs of the products on the pamphlets which are solely used for advertising purposes?
