Q: Am I allowed to keep the soap, etc that I have taken from the hotel room in which I was staying. If no and it's not possible for me to return the item. What do I do?

Q: An offer of purchase is signed by the purchaser and accepted by way of signing. While the lawyers are busy with the sale and waiting for the money, the seller passes away. Must his heirs honour the sale?

If a man was receiving disability benefit from the government and over the years some was spent and some was left as savings, what should be done with this money from an Islamic perspective.

1. Once he has received this money is he the sole owner and at liberty to spend as he wills. e.g. Can he go hajj with this money he saved?
2. Does he have to pay zakat on this money after a year if there is any surplus of this money?
3. If he was to die and he left a large amount of money then what should the children's of this man do with this money?
4. Who has more rights and responsibility over this money the sons or daughters?
5. If a son found out that there is a possibility of that money being hoarded after the demise of this man would it be wrong to inquire about it from the people concerned?

Q: I would like to know if it is permitted to buy groceries in supermarkets that sell liquour and haraam meats like pick and pay, woolworths foods and others?

Q: A certain person has a thriving clothing store. I want to open a clothing store where I will sell the same items as him. Also, I want to copy the method that he uses to sell his items. Is this fine?

Q: I am a security officer in a company. My company throws the items in a skip one month before the expiry date. Can I take some items from the skip without the permission of my supervisor?

Q: If I gave my word to a new employer to move to his company and at the last minute and after he stopped looking for someone to fill my new position I changed my mind and decided to stay at my current company. If I stay my new employers work will be affected and if I leave my old work will to be affected as they have not found a replacement for me yet. If I change my mind at the last minute to move to a new company, is it haram because I gave my word to move? Please help me I need to answer both employers tomorrow.

Q: I have written a business plan but don't have money to start the business. In this situation one of my friend suggested me to go through www.kickstarter.com. It is an online fund raising site for the projects to raise money in the form of donations by people. Is this permissible? and to highlight the project I need to tell some lies. I don't have any other way to get money. I can't get bank loans because of security problems. Please tell me by taking money this way can I start my business? Is it permissible in Islam? I was unable to decided but rather then choosing the wrong way to get money, it is better to beg for the money in front of rich and kind heart people to achieve my dreams. Every one has just one life to live and I want to do something with my life please help me. Give me any dua... which will bring me unlimited success. Whatever stands in my way I always want to came out as a winner. Please tell me some dua to get a success with reference.

Q: I want to sell my house, who has first preference to buy it? My neighbor or a family member?
