Covering the entire face of animate objects on groceries

Q: Regarding pictures of animate objects... 

1. After buying groceries etc. we normally scratch off the eyes, is that sufficient or do you have to scratch off the entire animate object (e.g. a picture of a person with their entire body, will it be sufficient to just cover the eyes or the face, or do you have to cover the entire body) and what is the ruling of it? 

2. As is common, normally everyone deals with cash (money which has animate picture on it) and has cash (money) by the house, what would be the best way possible to cover the cash, thereby allowing the angels to enter one's home? 

Drawing a stick figure with a face

Q: I drew two stick figures with dots for eyes, no nose and a circle for a mouth. I drew circles for hands and legs on the stick figure. I drew three lines for hair. It was drawn to represent my dad and as a funny thing. 

1. Is it permissible as it doesn't include any real features? 

2. Is it permissible to pray in such a room? 

3. Is the prayer still valid if I didn't know the ruling because I thought it is valid since it doesn't include any real features and only has geometrical shapes?

Drawing animate objects on cakes

Q: Does the ruling of drawing animate objects, specifically animals, also apply to baked goods/cakes? I have received mixed advice on this, some saying if there are no eyes it is ok, others saying because it gets eaten and isn’t kept as a drawing/picture or sculpture is it is ok. Please may you clarify.

Questions from a high school student regarding the Hadith and Taraweeh

Q: These questions are from a high school student: 

1. What is the ruling regarding drawing animate objects and why did Allah specifically create us from clay and clay is a flowing thing so why are we not allowed to also create? 

2. Regarding the hadeeth, it has never been said that it was never changed. Only the Quraan is intact, so how would you know if all the hadeeth have not been changed? 

3. Regarding taraweeh, they say that people only started reading it after the passing of Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), so it's not a must. Is it considered as a bidah? 

Watching videos and looking at images

Q: Is watching videos and looking at images haraam? 

For example, is watching a video on YouTube which includes no music or indecent clothing haraam, because there are videos which don’t include these. 

I am confused whether videos are haraam since most of them contain music and indecent clothing or are they are haraam because looking at animate things is haraam. 

Will watching a video which contains no music or indecent clothing be allowed? 

Is looking at images haraam? 

For example, is looking at an image of a bird haraam? 

If the image contains no indecency is it allowed?
