Touching the translation of the Quraan without wudhu

Q: I read the translation of Surah Fatah 2 days ago. In the last paragraph, Allah says mumin are strict/cruel for kuffar and soft for each other. They look for Allah's rehmat/fazal in rukoo and sujood. They have MEHRAB on their forehead (as a result of salah).
I have been offering my prayer for 2 and half years. I have tried my best not to leave any salah but I have no mehrab. Does it mean I need any improvement?

Q: Scholars tell us not to only read the meaning of Quran (translation), as this can be misleading without any explanation. The people who know Arabic, they are reciting the Quran acknowledging the meaning of each word. Why should we read the meaning along with explanation while they are reciting the Quran knowing Arabic?
Q: One interpretation of the meaning of Surah 18, Verse 110 reads:
“Say, ‘I am only a human being, like you, to whom it has been revealed that your God is One. Anyone who fears to meet his Lord should do good deeds and give no one a share in the worship due to his Lord.”
Another interpretation of the meaning reads: “Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I am only a man like you, ˹but˺ it has been revealed to me that your God is only One God. So whoever hopes for the meeting with their Lord, let them do good deeds and associate none in the worship of their Lord.”
When I shared the first interpretation, I later read it and saw the word “fears” used, so I told the group to focus on the Arabic as I thought the translation was wrong.
Then at one point I read: قد يكون الرَجْوُ والرَجاءُ بمعنى الخوف
I had a fear of falling into Kufr
Q: How do we know if the translation of the Quraan is correct?
Q: I would like to ask a question regarding the Yusuf Ali translation of the Quraan. I heard in a lecture that Yusuf Ali was unable to speak the Arabic language as well as the fact that they say his version is incorrect.
I also read the same facts online. Can I continue reading this version as I have always done so. Or could you advise me on what is the best translation of the Holy Quraan I could find.
Q: I saw someone quote a translation from the Quran ‘successful are the believers’. Is it not ‘Successful indeed are the believers’?
Q: Someone posted a Quranic verse that ‘indeed reminders benefit believers’. When I checked the translation, it said that ‘the reminder benefits the believers’. Is the translation from before incorrect?
