Q: Is sports permissible and should it be encouraged? What are the views of prominent ulama in modern times?

Q: What do the Ulama say about playing chess or board games like monopoly? Nowadays kids want to play games which have pictures and music and are violent. Can we play board games like mentioned above instead? 

Q: Status of playing cards in Islam just as a game withou betting?

Q: I downloaded a game and it asks a player to sacrifice some food as a sacrifice and to pray and to emmulate, etc as part of game. Is it ok to do so? Or should I uninstall the game?

Because it will not benefit original developers its not there official game selling site. So is it halaal to download from these free sites? 

Q: I am having doubts about shirk on the martial art called wing chun. The first syllabus of wing chun is called siu lim tao. They also called "thrice prayer to buddha". The first syllabus is similar to Buddhism prayer.. I am practicing only for fighting purposes. I am not thinking about the Buddhist spiritual moves.. Will it come under shirk?

1. After the tournament can a reward be given for the winner or rather can a reward be given to all the particapants for their participation in the event?

2. If rewards can be given, can we give medals?

3. Thirdly, the tournament is held in a private arena and a males only event. Entry is denied to any player who does not comply to a dress code requirement; 3 quarter shorts, etc.

Keeping the above in mind, do the Ulama advise having soccer tournaments for Hifz boys? Is it against the Mizaaj of Shariat?
