Q: What are the Sunnah postures for eating?

Q: I read in Sunnats by Mufti Saheb

"8.19. It is reported that Nabi used to say “YA WA SI ‘UL MUGFIRAH” after eating the first morsel - Which means, “O! The one whose forgiveness is all encompassing.” (Muslim - S.K. - Vol. 1 : Pg. 227)"

Is this with a zabar on the ayn or a pesh?

If you write the arabic with it it will be better Insha Allah.

Q: I know the sunnah of drinking water but would like to know the sunnah etiquettes of drinking water when partaking in a meal. Many say we should not drink whilst we are eating some say drink 1 hour before and after eating others say that it is sunnah to drink water in the middle of meal. Please can mufti saab please advise according to hadith?

Q:

1. Is it sahih that if we eat using a dastar then poverty will not come.
2. How many sunnat are there in eating according to sahih tradition? I mean established sunnats.

Q: Is it sunnah to cover the head at the time of eating or drinking?

Q: What dua should be read after drinking tea? The dua for water or milk?

Q:

1. Is it appropriate to decorate biscuits with the arabic alphabets on it which is done many times for children learning the letters?
2. My wife was gifted a scarf with the arabic alphabets as a design on the edges. Will it be proper to wear it or not?

Q: Are we allowed to eat whilst standing? Is it makrooh or haraam or permissible? Same question for drinking water whilst standing.

Q: When is it Sunnah to drink water; immediately after food or half an hour or so after meals?

Q: Is it prohobited in Islam to slurp drinks and certain foods?
