Q: My period stopped 5 years ago and today after 5 years I started bleeding. Do I regard this as my period?

Q: My last period date was 26 june till 1 july2015, but before 8 days I felt some unclear discharge which was not reddish but yellowish like, and after finishing periods this discharge remained for four days but I was still fasting at those discharge days, so my question is that did I do qada of 7 days fast, its enough or that four days of discharge after the period will also consider be considered as impure? Should I do qada for these four days also?

Q: I live in Saudi Arabia and want to perform umrah on Sunday (9 August ) before returning to South Africa. However, my menstruation has begun today (7 August) and my last period ended on 26 July (it was the full ten days). The space between then and now is 12 days and I am still performing my salah as to my knowledge there has to be a 15 day gap. Can I preform umrah or not?

Q: If a lady after experiencing about 6 days of haidh and from the seventhday slightly coloured discharge, will it be regarded as haidh if

1. The discharge is white when wet but coloured after drying

2. It is very slightly brown/yellow (not pure white) when wet but white when dry and:

a. If it is so little that it does not stain the pad but when making istinjaa it is felt that there was discharge, and now the colour is not known, what should be done?

b. If a lady becomes paak one hour before shoot, does Esha Salaah and taraweeh become fardh on her?

Q: What is the Islamic ruling regarding confinement. Is it true that a woman cannot leave the house for 40 days after giving birth?

Q: I have been in iddat for the last two months and what I think is due to stress I got haid just 10/11 days apart. Since this doesn't usually happen except for the last three months, I would like to know how many days should there between haid? And does this then mean my iddat is over since this would be my third since I was divoreced?

Q: I had my haidh on the 8th of july. I finished six days later. On the 1st of Aug I started spotting very little seven days early from my normal day that I get it. I am thinking it might be implantation bleeding (bleeding that occurs if you are pregnant). Do I regard it as haidh not read salaah/quraan etc or carry on as normal? As if it is implantation bleeding it means I am pregnant.

Q: A lady doesn't have a fixed time for her periods. It sometimes comes after a year, sometimes after six months sometimes after 3 months. The days it last for also vary. Sometimes 5 days, sometimes 10 days, sometimes 12 days. How many days does the husband have to wait after it ends before he can have relations with her?

Q: I'm suffering from a gynecological disease and I just got a procedure done by the doctor. With that I will get irregular bleeding and a lot of brown discharge which I assume is blood. I want to know that with this bleeding can I fast during the month of Ramadan and pray. It is said that menstrual bleeding will be irregular so I'm not sure if it's menstrual bleeding or its due to the procedure done. This will go on for 3 to 6 months. Some days I get it some days I don't. Please let me know what can I do?

Q: If a woman didn't pray her fardh salaah right after the azaan, later she went to pray before the expiry of the salaah time but she got her haidh. Now will she be sinning for not praying salaah earlier as she knows that she might experience haidh if delayed thus the salaa will be qadha.
