Q: I'd like to seek guidance on below matters in relation to Ihram and Hajj:
1. Is it permissible to use an umbrella and sunglasses during the state of Ihram?
2. Is it permissible to use fragrance free sunscreen cream and body wash during the state of Ihram?
3. Is it permissible to use earphones during state of Ihram to listen to something or foam earplugs in ears to reduce noise while sleeping?
4. Is it permissible to use slipper shoes/sliders for men during ihram that cover some part of the top of the foot, however it keeps the heels, ankles and toes exposed?
5. If one's hair, nail or skin falls off unintentionally during ihram, does his state of ihram continue or need to offer dam and redo ihram intention?
6. Does a person offering Hajj and doing animal sacrifice at Makkah in relation to his Hajj also needs to offer Eid-ul Adha qurbani that he do every year or whether that's not required?
7. If a person offering Hajj for 1st time is also helping move parent on wheelchair during obligatory Tawaf and Saee offering, would his own Tawaf and Saee rites be offered at the same time if he makes such intention for himself as well, or does he need to offer his own Tawaf and Saee separately to complete his Hajj?
Q: Is it permissible for my wife to dress in jeans, heels, and other very provocative western and eastern attire in the boundary of our home? There is no risk of anyone entering upon my wife. This is all for my pleasure, so that I am able to better guard my gaze and be satisfied at home?
Q: If fruits or vegetables are injected with growth regulators like Ethephon and Calcium carbide, will they be halal to consume?
Q: In South Africa, do we fast on the actual day of Arafah, in Makkah, or on the next day 9th of Dhul Hijjah?
Q: We, in our family inherited shares in a private company. The company apparently pays interest to shareholders on their loan accounts. But is such interest permissible in accordance with Shariah? Kindly advise.
