Q: Does one need to be in the state of wudhu when touching a material cover on the Quraan Shareef?

Q: If you have missed salaah for years but now unable to make them up (qadha) because you are sick, what should one do? Is seeking forgiveness enough?

Q: There are a few individuals that have done FUE (follicular unit extraction). The procedure involves taking a persons own hair and transplanting it to areas of the scalp where hair has thinned.

My understanding is few weeks after the procedure there is also natural growth in these areas and the hair can be cut and will regrow naturally.

Is this procedure using your own hair permissible?

Q: I’m on iddah at present and have been keeping to the confinement of my home as per the rules of Islam. However, my daughter has been experiencing emotional and psychological distress to my divorce as we had to pack up and leave our home in a few days and start a fresh. She is seeing a therapist at present. 

My brother is going away for the weekend and suggested that I join him with my daughter going to the destination and staying in the room whilst he does activity with her. I unfortunately have to drive because he is taking his family with him and there is no space in the car. Is this allowed considering the circumstances. It’s been six weeks since my iddah and I don’t don’t want to break the rules.

Q: I recently got offered a job at a car dealership and although I won’t be directly dealing with interest, the company is involved in interest and financing cars. I wanted to know if the money I earn from working at this company is halaal and if I will be sinful by working at such a dealership?

Q: I advertised a hunting scope on an online platform. In the description I wrote the name and the condition of the scope been fair condition. An individual messaged and on 20 March 2024 and I sold the hunting scope to this individual. 

On 25 March he confirmed receiving the scope and was happy. A month later he messaged saying the scope is not working and demanding a refund. I said its one month later and I can't do anything as its a second hand item and was bought and sold as second hand goods. Then he demands a receipt for the item which could not be provided as its second hand goods with no warranty. 

Apparently he wanted the receipt as the company of this scope has a lifetime warranty which he could claim if he had an original receipt which could not be provided. The scope was sold for R2000 which was in fair condition. All pictures of the scope was shown to the individual before purchasing. A scope brand new is about 8 to R10000. Its been around 5 months since the purchase. What do I do in this situation?

Q: Is it obligatory upon children to complete late parents vows? 

For example if someone vows to fast for 10 days and then doesn't do it and passes away. Can we give kaffara instead of completing the fasts because the children can't fast. What's the kaffara in this case?

Q: Is it haraam to pray in forbidden times? Would they be valid? What is the status of qadha prayers performed in the last 20 minutes of Asr? Are they valid and disliked?

Q: Is it permissible for women to go to the qabrastan with a mahram at quiet times when there's no other men around?

Q: My hair is below my hips am I allowed to trim my hair until my hips?
