Q: My daughter was born last year in July. I have not done aqeeqah for her since then even though I was and I am able to afford to do so. Can I still do aqeeqah for my daughter?

Q: My father keeps his money in my bank account, which mainly comes from monthly shop rent approximately 14 lakhs in total till now. 

I used 1.5 lakhs rupees out of those 14 lakhs without my father's permission and started a business which was pretty successful. After a couple of months I put the amount back. 

So my question is that the profit that I earned, is it halaal or haraam and should I continue this business?

Q: Can I use thobes and kufis to clean the furniture or use them as a mop? Are they sacred, and is it sinful to use them in such disrespectful ways?

Q: Can my brother in law be regarded as a witness at my sister's nikaah while I, the brother be the wali?

Q: As a father, can one punish the daughter if she's a teenager? Islamically what physical discipline is permitted or should my wife do it?

Q: I am a woman who has always performed Umrah wearing a hat and covering my face. Recently, when I was about to perform Umrah, my sister-in-law insisted that I could wear my niqab directly without the hat, as I would only be wearing it for a few hours, and damm would not be waajib upon me. However, I disagreed with her because I felt that this would compromise the essence of Umrah. 

I believe wearing the niqaab in such a manner involves intentional contact of cloth with the face, which contradicts the principles of ihraam. The allowance for unintentional contact exists, but wearing the niqaab directly seems to me like a deliberate act, done only to avoid the inconvenience of using a hat. 

Please clarify my doubt: 

1. Can I intentionally wear the niqaab directly without a hat and perform Umrah? 

2. Can I wear gloves during Umrah as many Saudi women point out during Umrah that it's haraam?

Q: Is salaat valid if performed with a small tear in one's trouser exposing a little bit of one's thigh? Does salaat performed in this condition have to be repeated?

Q: Do we Muslims worship Allah alone or do we worship His attributes too with Him?

Q: With regards to the permissibility of using Aafiyah Healing, Bodytalk & Reiki as alternate healing/treatment, the treatment which is of great concern is one which is carried out by a practitioner abroad. 

All she requires are names of patients, other family members and maybe a few other details. 

There are no one on one consultations, to the extent she can tell things about patients and their problems even whilst the patient is asleep.

Q: As we are aware, Brazil exports meat and meat products worldwide. Even within the Arab countries, these products are exported and, according to my information, they are halaal certified. As a result, many Muslims consume these products. 

However, I have noticed that our Ulama forbid consuming them. I have some questions regarding this: 

1. What is the position of our Ulama on Brazilian chicken, regardless of the brand? 

2. Are there certain brands that are genuinely halaal? 

3. On what basis is meat exported to Muslim countries and certified as halaal? 

4. Why do our Ulama and the Arab Ulama differ on this matter?
