Q: What do we have to do to gain our parents good Duas?

Q: My wife and I have a problem. I was arrested as my tenant was dealing in drugs, when the cops came to my place they found a dagga plant on my property and arrested me as well. This happened while my wife was in durban. While I was kept in a holding cell I made contact with a friend who came to my assistance. She when home and secured my house and came back to the station with my ID and proof of residence. This lady lives in durban and was on her way to the airport when i called her. She had checked out from her accommodation and missed her flight. She then stayed at my house for 1 night while I was locked away. On 4 Jan I was released. My wife returned to JHB on 5 Jan. i was not given a chance to explain what happened. her parents took her away and said we are separated. On 9 Jan my wife said that she is coming home, however they came with cops to take all her belongings away. I was upset and under high amounts of stress as they took both cars and left me stranded. In the days to follow my wife and i where messaging each other via watsapp. She then made statements that i was a fraudster, drug dealer, that i cheated on her which is not true. This enraged me as i could not believe what was happening, so over watsapp i told her that if thats the person i think i am then theres the first Talaaq (i also spelt it talaat) Since then her parents consulted a maulana and now i get news that we are divorced. I never spoke to any maulana and was not even given a chance to explain anything. I love my wife and I have done everything i could for her. I know that she is hurt due to the events that took place on 2 Jan The tenant got arrested again and i got word from the arrested officer that he will not get bail as he got arrested while he was on bail. I had to appear in court yesterday for my charge. My case was dropped as I called the cops on my tenant. What do I do as I dont believe we are divorced. I love my wife and do not want a divorce.

Q: Does swallowing mouth saliva break ones fast?

1. Accidently remembering I am fasting (and not remembering I am fasting)

2. Deliberately remembering I am fasting (and not remembering I am fasting)

3. You are in a situation you can’t spit it out, but if you swallow it you know you will be having thoughts that it will satisfy your thirst even if you don’t want to satisfy it. What must you do? Ignore these thoughts? Situations are: 1.you are outside around people, 2. you are very tired and you are in your bed trying to sleep, 3. When we cry during dua we have a lot of saliva, swallowing it makes fast void or not? 4. If we have a lot of saliva but we are outside around people?

Q: If a sick person is able to stand in Salaah but unable to perform ruku and sajdah, can he stand in front of the chair and sit down at ruku? Is this permissible or should he sit on the chair from the beginning? Which is preferable?

Q: If a person reads a sajdah aayah many times while travelling in a car, does he have to make one sajdah-e-tilawaah or many?

Q: Does nose congestion (snot) break ones fast?

4. When you are having them a lot during salah (you emptied your nose before salah but during salah still have a lot) and it’s difficult to go on praying, you must either stop salah or swallow it, what to do in such cases?

5. Does moisture that comes directly from the brain into your throat (not from the nose) break ones fast?

Sometimes I find myself in a situation when the nose congestion is already out of your nose and you can only swallow it, you cant spit it out either because you are in metro lets say, or because physically its already in a passage that you can only swallow it. Does swallowing it break fasting in such cases?

Q: I have been married for seven years now. We had gotten married really young and from the beginning my husband was informed that I was my parents responsibility, and it has been seven years and he still refuses to Nafaka me. We fight about it all the time as I feel embarrassed to go around asking family members to assist me with financial needs. We have two kids and I perform all my duties as a mother and wife. I do not want to get divorced but I don't know what more to say to him as he refuses to nafaka me. Please advise me as to what I should do.

Q: My question is about nikaah. Can a boy and girl make nikaah on their own, just oral, with one witness or without witnesses and how? We did that, we read kalima and than he asked I son of, he told his father's name and he asked do you accept me as husband. I said qubool hai 3 times, and he said the same. We had one witness. Is this nikaah valid?

Q: Whenever I see a guy in my dream I always perform ghusl. This happened to me many times in a week.

1) If I saw a non maharam guy in my dream, so that means this is a wet dream?

2) If I saw a guy in dream and I feel shy and nervous so this is also a wet dream?

Q: I have heard that soft drinks contain some amount of alcohol. I contacted one of the companies, they replied it is halaal. So please could you tell me if it is still permissible to consume soft drinks?
