Q: Is it permissible to eat meat or chicken from a non-Muslim restaurant whose non-Muslim owner says that his meat is halaal? 

Q:

1. I have advised my family that on my passing they should not hold any gathering of 3, 10 or 40 days but instead make dua for me to get the sawaab. Please advise if this was right or wrong.

2. I also do not attend any zikr or khatam programmes organised by my family and gave them the reason that I have noticed that during these events, the programme continues into salaah times thus many miss their salaah. Please commment.

3. I am asked again and again as to why I do not stand for salami and why I do not read salami. Can Mufti give me an answer that will satisfy them. I advised them that as far as I know the Angels deliver the salaam and durood to Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and also that I do not believe that my Nabi is present in these gatherings.

Q: I wish to enquire regarding a new type of insurance called Takaaful. Is this new type of insurance permissible in Islam? Does Islam allow one to insure his house or car etc.?

I was always under the impression that all types of insurance are haraam.  However, I have been told that Takaaful insurance is quite different to conventional insurance as it is a waqf that one is investing in and by taking out this type of insurance, one will perpetually be gaining reward.

Q: Is it permissible to use CBD oil for medicinal reasons as alternate medications is not working? It is without the THC element, which is intoxicating.

Q: What is the ruling for breathable nail polishes available in the markets ?

Q: Must the hair of a newborn baby girl also be shaved on the 7th day after birth?

Q: I want to take an interest loan from a bank through a friend since the bank would only be willing to lend it to my friend and not myself because of my poor credit history. Is it allowed? What is the punishment and is the sin on both of us or only me? Am I also involving my friend in a sin?

Q: If a person coming from Australia on a tourist visa to Saudi Arabia, to his parents and performs umrah also, how may days he should stay in Jeddah to become a muqeem and make ihraam from Jeddah to perfom umrah? 

Q: I grew up in a home where my dad always went out in Jamaat and did Taleem at home. I am married to a Muslim man who is kind and generous Alhamdullilah but does not believe in tableegh work, he refuses to go out even for 3 days. I have made dua many times but he refused. He will sit and listen when Jamaat visits our home but his dad told him not to go with the "tabhleegis" if I can put it like that. Please elloborate to me in simple terms

1. What is Tableegh and why the Jamaat goes out doing Tableegh work so I can explain to him and his family. Alot of them also say that Taleem is a tabhleegis practice and that's the reason they don't do it.

2. Also they believe in reading Salaami which I was never taught. One question also raised is that why don't we read the salaami in the Taleem groups done by women weekly? 

Q: I would like to inquire regarding the following:

1. Does the amr bil maroof abundantly mentioned in the Qur'an include inviting non Muslims towards Islam?

2. Which should be given preference/which is more important, inviting non Muslims towards Islam, or inviting Muslims to uphold the deen completely? Does one hold greater importance over the other or are both equal in importance?

3. If one carries out one out of the two above, will it be considered to be deficient for not carrying out the other?
