Q:
1. My menstruation cycle is regular in the sense that I have 14 clean days, 1 day istihaza and 10 days haiz. It's the same every time. So it starts at 4.43pm. I am usually always alert about performing my asr salaah before the time of haiz starts. Unfortunately today I was unwell earlier and had to sleep and over slept and only awoke after the time of haiz began. Will this asr Salaah be considered as qaza?
2. As a saahib tartib if I make ghusl and I have only enough time to perform the fard salaah and not the qazaa. When do I read the qazaa?
Q: I have a fabric cover on my Quraan for many years. It has become threadbare in some places. I want to change it. Can I add this old cover to my fabric scraps?
Also, as a child my mum had covered my Quraan first with paper and plastic wrap. When I remove it can I throw it away? I am confused as I don't wish to be disrespectful.
Q: Is not covering the feet below the ankles for woman against sunnah? I have severe waswasa and I found out that except for Hanafi's, others consider the feet as awrah. Are my prayers invalid as I didn't cover it after knowing about the ruling. Why do Hanafi's not consider the feet as awrah. I feel scared that my namaz isn't valid. What should I do?
Q: I recite dua in jalsah (sitting between 2 sajdahs) as per hadith "Allahum magfirli warhamni wajburni warfaani wahdini wa aafini warzuqni". I like to add these words to this dua "wa aauzu bika min kulli balaa id-duniya wa azaabil aakhirah".
I would like to know if adding these words in the dua is permissible or not?
Q: I learnt in Islam that it is very bad to reveal one's personal secrets to others, but is there any danger in teaching my Muslim brother something new I learnt about Deen like how to perform ghusl?
Q: Due to my slowness in reciting the tasbeeh in the last qadah, the imam almost always makes salam before I can complete my supplication which has to be done after Durood. Please advise what I should do. Please note that the slowness is due to my adherence to tajweed rules in the durood and at-tayiyat.
Q: Should we recite At-tahiyat and Durood e Ibrahim with Tajweed? With Ghunna and everything?
Q: There is a rule in Bahishti Zewar that it is makrooh to stand alone in a row. The person should pull a person back from the row before him. What happens to the gap formed by the exiting of the said muqtadi to fill the previous row?
If a Muqtadis wudhu breaks during prayer, should he just leave and leave a gap in the saff? What should he do in this regard?
Q: I am 19 years old and I used to trim my beard. (استغفرلله) Now, I have stopped and I have a beard protruding an inch or so. Can I lead a prayer or call the Azaan? I do not know whether my beard would have reached one fist or not if I had never cut it. Alhamdulilah, I have made Taubah. Am I eligible for imamat and calling the Azaan?
