Q: I want to start a business and I have an idea. The problem is that the idea is so easy, if I go with this idea to a traditional investor or Venture Capital firm they will copy the idea or start it on their own.

I don't have any capital to start the business so I can start the business with help crowdfunding. Will the business income be halaal?

My intention is clear that when I start making profit, I will start returning the money to the people or via the same way I got it, or I will donate the same amount of money to others.

Another thing is, can I use some money to buy a house with the capital raised because we are living in a rented house for a very long time and i want to buy a house.

Until I don't return the full capital money as I said above, is it permissible to donate some part of the income to other people in need? 

Q: Who are the Naqshbandis? Are their practices correct and in accordance to the Ahlul Sunnah Wal Jamaah? Can I follow them?

Q: Is using duffs permissible in zikr gatherings like that of the Naqshabandis?

Q: Agar khawind se biwi ki hi behen ke sath koi gunah kia ho aur bad mai biwi ko pata chala hai. Biwi ke sath ke 2 bache he or biwi ke huqooq poora kar raha he lekin gunah ke bad ab biwi kiya kare? Biwi ki maa ka kahna he ke chor do usko. Aisi surat mai biwi ke liye kiya hukam he?

Q: I personally read manzil and other relevant aayats of Quran and blow it on isbanb (or some call it aspand/efsand/peganum hermala/syrian rue/African rue, etc.) and then it is roasted on fire and smoke comes out of it. It is a common practice done at my place in Kashmir for the treatment of jinn, sihr, etc. Is it permissible?

Q: I'm a Muslim and I work in a truck company. I'm responsible for all the mechanics in the trucks. Now we started working with a beer company called Heineken in Mozambique. I don't drink and I don't like to be involved with alcohol. I'm the one responsible for all trucks to be on the road.

My question is, is that job permissible for me?

Q: What I would like to know is; are there any sunnah businesses like textiles, gems or itr, etc? Is it either sunnah or emphasised in shariah for barakah?

Q: If a family phones the house of a girl to see the girl for marriage - Is it permissible to read Istikharah to gain insight on whether the boy should be called home to see the girl? Especially since the girl finds these 'samoosa runs' difficult.

Q: I’m 24 years old and I was born with Cp. Basically I’m in a wheelchair and I can’t really do much like change, bath, et. My mum does all of that for me! I come from a pious family Alhumdullah but I live in the same yard as my uncle and he has 3 sons, all of age. When my foi’s come to visit they also have sons and I’m the only girl! All of us are unmarried. Alhumdullah besides this condition of mine my mind is fine.

I’ve been wanting to go into pardah for many years now especially because of our living conditions and now that we are all grown up! When I expressed my desire to my mum she said that wearing a cloak and pardah will be too difficult for her to carry me because cloaks are slippery and she refuses for me to wear it! The best part of this is that my mum comes from a pious family and her entire family is in pardah!

I tried explaining to her that this is the order of Allah. If I wear it Allah will make it easy for her, but to no avail! She’s extremely stubborn. My mums family is full of Ulema and I tried to get them to talk to her but they just say “Allah knows your intention”.

I see how my cousins look at me and I don’t buy into this whole cousins are your brothers story! I reached out to my grandparents, my Daadi doesn’t like pardah at all so I didn’t get anywhere with her and I won’t try. My naani says that I must make life easy for my mum as it is it’s so difficult! We are living in times of great finah. I don’t know what to do. Please advise.

Q: There is a masjid inside a university where many Muslim students live, but it often does not have any jamaat salaah on Sundays, though the Friday prayer is held there.

An imam is appointed for the masjid, but he often does not come for Fajr, Isha and prayers on weekends (maybe because he lives far from the university). When the imam is not present, anyone leads the prayer. Is it correct to start a 2nd jamaat after the imam has already led the 1st jamaat salaah?
