Qurbaani & Halaal Slaughter

Q: I'm from Hyderabad, India and currently reside in Doha (from last March). The thing is I was in Saudi Arabia for 6 years and from December 2011 my toughest period of life started, Alhamulillah, I'm now quite fine. The thing is I was jobless, without any salary from December 2011 till 28th Feb 2013, which is more than 14 months of joblessness. During this time, I dipped into deep financial crisis and had to borrow money from nears & dears for me and my wife/son's survival. Alhamdulillah, to this day, I've repaid the debts of 4 persons out of 10. Insha Allah I hope to clear off the remaining debts too. My question now is am I eligble for Qurbaani? Can I opt for Qurbaani in A cow instead of sheep? Please advise me.

Q: If a person upon whom qurbaani was waajib passes away about a hour before sunset on the 12th. Was that qurbani waajib upon him and does he have to leave a wasiyyat if he had not as yet fulfilled it?

Q: Is one's qurbani valid if subsequently rumours are heard and suspicions arise that the person entrusted to perform the quarbani on one's behalf overseas has not done so?

Q: Mufti Saheb, could you explain the virtues of the first ten days of Zul Hijjah and what are we supposed to do during these days?

Q: Insha Allah I am going to do qurbaani. So from which date should I not cut my hair and nails?

Q: What is the ruling of making Qurbaani if one has many debts yet has jewellery?

Q: In the first ten days of Zil Hijjah we are advised not to cut our hair and nails etc If we are making qurbaani. Is this a masnoon practice of Sayyiduna Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)?

Q: A person did not make a waajib Qurbani one year thinking that he did not own the amount of nisaab. He instead made a nafl qurbaani. After some years he realised that he had wealth put away which would have made qurbaani waajib on him. What does he do? Will the nafl qurbaani be counted for that years waajib qurbaani?

Q: I know that max 7 people can share in one cow and i heard that each person must take a full share like 1,2,3,4,5,6 or 7 shares. Now my question is, can two people purchase a cow with equal shares (3 and a half shares each) or they must purchase 3 shares and 4 shares respectively?

Q: If one goes for Haj and he does his qurbani there again is it necessary to offer qurbani on behalf of him at his home country or not? Please clarify.
