Q: Do the bodies of the pious and righteous people decay or get eaten by worms?

Q: We are not allowed to attend non-Muslims funeral, so how do we arrange or attend a funeral of a relative if we are Muslim converted to Islam and our family are not Muslim ?

1. Can we pray for our Muslim brothers and sisters who have comitted sucide?

2. If yes, then how?

1. Is there any virtue if I keep my kafan ready?

2. Is there any virtue of washing kafan with zam zam water?

Q: Are women prohibited from visiting the graveyard in every situation? Even if she is not in haidh or nifaas?

1. From the time a person passes away till he is buried, does the mayyit perceive what is happening around him?

2. What happens to the ruh?

3. Can the dead person hear/perceive anything (from outside) whilst they are in their grave?

Q: Is it permissible to buy a qabar (grave) in a qabristan and keep it only for the family members who die? No outsiders are allowed to be buried in it.

Q:

1. When a Muslim passes away and the body is brought home after the ghusl, should the body be placed on the ground? Or should it be placed on a table?

2. Should people sit around the body and recite or should they stand around the body? Please advise on what is preferable or ideal.

Q: Can a woman go to the graveyard to visit the grave of her parents? Not often, just once in a while and that too in complete purdah?

Q: Should Ulama attend and perform the janaazah of a person who committed suicide?
